BIOGRAPHY
Lance Hawkins and Karen Durand have combined forces to bring over 30 years experience and success in the arts and entertainment industry together in their outstanding duo “Caught In The Act”. Karen is a well-known soloist and vocalist in the Hunter and has performed with many of Newcastle’s well known duo’s and bands. She performs to popular acclaim wherever she sings and has extensive touring experience nation wide and overseas.
Lance has a solid performance background in music theatre where he honed his singing, acting and entertaining abilities that have made him a dynamic and professional entertainer. Caught In The Act is a vibrant combination of two exceptional entertainers who keep every audience entertained with their selection of contemporary and well-known music. With a wide variety of styles in any single performance (with costume changes if required!), they have a vast repertoire that would suit crowds of any age or musical taste. Caught In The Act play a wide variety of music styles, ranging from Old Time, 60’s and Rock n Roll, Rock, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s up to today’s Top 40. They are also a preferred choice for weddings, private functions and events.
