FINAL WARNING

BIOGRAPHY Final Warning was formed by four friends with the purpose of reintroducing classic Australian rock back into Newcastle and Hunter Clubs & Hotels. As Final Warning, we first performed together 4 years ago and have since transformed into a dynamic outfit entertaining party goers all over the Hunter. Final Warning is one of Newcastle’s premiere rock bands, know for their consistent high energy guitar and rhythm driven rock, combined with powerful vocals. The band is driven by Mick Atkins, a young, energetic drummer who brings power and passion to every performance. His love for Australian rock is influenced by Rob Hirst from Midnight oil. Before joining Final Warning Mick was the drummer in local hotel band Stool.Noel Manning Noel originally from the Central Coast area was lead guitarist for Central Coast band Free Spirits. He is an accomplished guitarist with his lead breaks well known by Final Warning fans. Noel has a passion for Australian rock and is influenced by Ian Moss from Cold Chisel. Chris Hanckel the bass player has been performing for a number of years in the Nelson Bay area with the band Garden Party. Chris brings a depth of experience and a solid bass foundation on which Final Warning’s music is founded. Chris’s style is influenced by a number of great bass players which include John Paul Jones from Led Zepplin. Allison Forbes is a recent addition to Final Warning. Allison was discovered by Final Warning after hearing her sing at Tamworth in a band called Shift. She brings high powered vocals and an electric stage presence that compliments the band. Influenced by performers such as Pink and Christina Amphlett from the Divinyls. David Martin is the bands newest rhythm and lead guitarist. He is an accomplished musician with solid music experience in the industry, in early 1990’s was member of bands Kindred Spirit and Hay Wire. Dave has already developed a rapport with the audience who love his youthful energy. His idols include Jimmy Hendricks, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
