BIOGRAPHY
It was said in the summer of 2005 by Larry Page, former manager of The Kinks and Elton John, 'Lenni Joseph has the voice of Jameriqui and the vibe of David Bowie.' And with a 10 year career taking him around the globe, Lenni has spent time and played music with many of the world's recognized performers. At 15 years old Joseph got his hands on his first '4 track recorder.' From this time onwards he knew where his true passions hid in the industry, writing and recording his own music.
His charisma when seen live on stage is second to none. Such energy in all the right places with just enough space for beautiful vocal sensitivity and a whole lotta soul. Bob Marley and Sade's guitarist Gordon Hunte has named LJ the most talented male vocalist he hasever seen live within OZ.
After working live as a singer and performer for almost a decade. LJ has begunembracing his other skills and interests on stage.... the funky house DJ scene. Lenni has spent the better part of the last decade writing and producing Dance/House remixes for like minded acts all over the world. With a cracking set of his own remixes, he is now finding success as a DJ playing 3000 head dance parties with thelikes of Kid Kenobe, Nick Fish and Amba Savage. At 26 Lenni is maturing into the next stage of his career, whether playing a packed out dance party or a 21st birthday function LJ always has the right grooves for everyoccasion. In saying that Lenni recently played a gig for the 'Royal Degenerative Eye Disease Foundation' which hosted guests such as Ida Butrose, Delta Goodrem, and Layton Hewitt making sure everyone was entertained for the evening. It is a very special experience to watch Lenni Joseph do his thing. In whatever genre he plays, Hip Hop/ House, Reggae, or Soul his musicality always shines through to create the most beautiful, entertaining and peaceful evening for all who lay their ears on his individual and moving sound!
