BIOGRAPHY
Rockback is all about the legendary sounds of yesterdays greats. Focusing on of the standards from where it all began, and the artists that carved out the raw and influental sounds that in past times that was called Rock and Pop. The act incorporates the raw Aussie vibe of the likes Jimmy Barnes and Paul Kelly, the expression of Van Morrison and CCR's John Fogerty, to the grass roots of Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Elvis.
The duo is made up of Wayne Doyle and John Worth, sharing lead vocals, harmonies and guitar. Supported by quality sequences using real instruments to create that all important atmosphere and authentic sound. Wayne plays a mean rock and roll guitar that bring that 'live' vibe to the duo, with a voice reminise of the originals, whilst John's earthy vocals ensure a powerful rendition of the greats, supported by some fluid guitar that makes a song feel alive. Rockback, dragging out the long lost sounds that represented the heartbeat of contemporary music.
