BIOGRAPHY
FEATURING KAREN SMITH & STEVE PIPER. Karen & Steve have joined forces to produce a Duo that is polished, entertaining and versatile. The duo comprises two lead vocalists, two harmonies, lead guitar and percussion. Karen Smith is known locally for being half of the Duo “Sierra Blue” and Steve Piper is well known as a great solo performer.
As “Streetwise”, Steve and Karen’s presentation is polished, witty and professional, with a sound system & professional midi backing that is second to none. They have an excellent rapport with each other on stage and with their audience, with every performance being energetic, engaging and most of all – fun! Individually they are both vibrant and refreshing performers and together have a repertoire of over 1000 songs from the 60’s to 00’s. There is no shortage of material for dancing or listening, from current “Top 40” to “Retro” to “R & B” to “Rock & Roll”.
