BIOGRAPHY
Stuart Hamilton’s musical talents became at a young age when he began learning piano, culminating at age 19 when he was offered the position of resident pianist at “Monte Pio Court” in Rutherford. He performed there for three years before moving on to work at other well known venues including a residency at the Newcastle Raddisson Hotel (now Capri Plaza). Stuart was then offered the position of keyboardist / backing vocalist with the “Kate Ballantyne Band”
This gave him the opportunity to perform professionally throughout Australia at major venues in regional and capital cities including Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne. Stuart was also featured in Kate’s video for her number one song “Too Hot To Handle”, and he continued to perform successfully with the band for another three years. For the next two years Stuart performed in the duo “Aquarius” at every major venue in the Hunter and adding to his vast list of accomplishments, Stuart has also been resident pianist at Newcastle’s West Leagues Club for the past six years! Always a sought after vocalist and musician, his exceptional solo act encompasses classical pieces, easy listening through to classic and modern hits. With great talent and personality to boot, Stuart is a true professional who brings passion, fun and variety into every performance
