Q&A With Mrs Australia Quest National Finalists as presented
in Ovarian Cancer Australia

 The Mrs
Australia Quest proudly supports ovarian
cancer awareness, so much so the contestants are
actually judged on how much awareness they can raise of
ovarian cancer in their community.
The contestants have passed on some of their beauty
secrets in the Q&A below.
What
season of fashion do you enjoy the most?
I fell in love with autumn and winter garments when
I lived in Melbourne- the accessories, coats, shoes...my
favourites - Kate Turner
What
words of wisdom would you pass onto your daughter as to
the must haves in your wardrobes?
Have the basics so you can mix and match - black
dresses and basic colors don’t go out of fashion.
Fashion pieces that may cost a little but last a long
time and accessories a must and a great pair of shoes - Veronica Cristovao
What
season of fashion do you enjoy the most?
I love winter to wear my dark denim jeans and boots
but since living in North Queensland I don’t get to do
this much so summer with all the beautiful dresses is

What
attracted me to joining Mrs Australia Quest?
The Mrs Australia Quest pageant gives each
contestant the opportunity to represent not only our
communities, but our states, and our nation. It also
gives us the opportunity to speak as a representative
for ovarian cancer and help people in need - Piper O'Niell
What
is your wow factor when you are at a function?
A great dress and a smashing personality - to me
this wins every time - Rebecca Thurston
Are
you a trend setter that likes to have your own style?
I prefer to have my own style with pieces that look
good and won’t date too much. Current fashion goes out
of style so quickly I can hardly keep up - Sandy Schultz
What
does fashion mean to you?
What looks good on me personally - a good rule for

What’s
your favourite style of home decorating?
A lot of dark/neutral colours and unusual objects,
wood carvings, iron candle holders all over the place - Rachael Greber
What
makes you buy a garment; a bargain, the name of the
brand, or what is in fashion?
As I have two little ones I look for the bargains

Where
do you shop the most and what is your favorite brand of
clothing?
Online, many of my designer dresses I have purchased
