TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. There
is a non refundable entry fee of $550.00 and you should also
equip yourself with a suitable competition wardrobe.
Please see Judging Criteria for various competition
sections. The application fee can be sponsored by a
business and in return this business will be advertised
on our website as your sponsor and also at the National
Final Event. AQG believes that the admission fee
should not be an obstacle for those who are passionate
in helping our cause. Therefore we have arranged
with Cadbury Chocolates an avenue where you are able to
sell chocolates to cover your application fee. If
you require more information about this please don’t
hesitate to contact our office.
2. Contestants
must contract to obtain a sponsor/advertiser or donor
for one (or more) full page advertisements for the
souvenir program and on screen presentation. The page(s)
will feature the contestant’s
photograph, her personal details and recognition of the
sponsor or donors. This sponsor page can consist of more
than one business or individual. Layout is to be
supplied by the entrant in the appropriate format by the
designated deadline. Sponsorship/Advertisement layout
should be received by AQG by the designated dates.
3.
Applicants are to attend the National Final Judging at
their own expense and provide their own competition
garments for each section.
4.
All finalists will be required to purchase a video and
photographic package at the final.
All
entrants receive a $150 discount photo shoot voucher
from International Imaging, promotion on the Mrs
Australia Quest website and certificate of
participation.
Rules
for Participants and Winner:
Winners of the Beauty Pageant, whether a Title Holder or
Runner up, and in further consideration of any prize
associated to the title awarded, must come under the
exclusive management of the Australia Quest Group AQG
and must agree to the following rules for a period of
one year or during her Reigning or Title year.
1. To
fully cooperate in all requests and various tasks
associated with the title, which shall include public
and private activities by the organizers and sponsors
such as photographic sessions, appearances at community
and commercial events and the like.
2.
To
understand and agree that the obligation of the title
requires her to represent her country at an
international competition overseas. However, should the
winner be unable to travel for any reasons, the
privilege of representing Australia in the
international competition will be passed on to the next
contestant in succession or to the candidate of AQG
choice.
