By promoting awareness of the early signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer ladies who participate in the Mrs Australia Quest will not only have a lifetime experience, they will also grow  as a person through our self development workshops.  As an entrant in the Mrs Australia Quest you can make a difference to the terrible statistics of this "silent killer" and help us save lives. One in 77 women will develop ovarian cancer in their lifetime.  This could be you, your sister, your mum, your grandmother, your daughter, or your girlfriend.  Every year more than 1200 Australian women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer, around 800 will die from the disease.  On average 3 women in Australia are diagnosed every day. Unfortunately when most women are diagnosed their cancer is at an advanced stage, and difficult to treat. More than half of these ladies will not live for five years after their diagnosis.

The Mrs Australia Quest goal is to change these statistics.  By educating women across Australia and beyond of the early signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. Unfortunately there is currently no reliable early detection test or screening program for Ovarian Cancer.  The Mrs Australia Quest promotes ovarian cancer awareness in other words "Until there is a test awareness is Best."  hence our motto of beautiful awareness.

The MAQ provides entrants an opportunity  to promote themselves, voice their opinions, get involved, network, fulfil personal goals,make new friends, grow as a person and most of all enjoy themselves.  The experience at the National Final is very glamorous and entertaining for everyone who participates. Our titles change the lives of those who are crowned opening new doors of opportunity and lifetime memorable moments. 

The Mrs Australia Quest believes that all ladies who have been married, divorced, separated, single mums, or ladies who live in a defacto relationship should have equal opportunity to show their beauty from both the inside and out. 

The Mrs Australia Quest is a platform that all women can feel confident in entering.  There is no set physical profile for a lady who enters the Mrs Australia Quest.  We appreciate the fact that a real lady comes in all different shapes, colors, ages, and sizes.  We understand that every lady who enters a quest of this nature is for their own different and personal reasons.  

The quest is a celebration of female diversity, talent, family & community contribution.
